The work of a notary is narrow, and it is exacting.

A notary's seal is recognised internationally. Everything below is prepared so that a foreign bank, court or registry will accept it the first time.

  • Certifying true copies of passports, degrees, transcripts and identity documents

  • Witnessing signatures on deeds, affidavits and statutory declarations

  • Powers of attorney for property and business matters overseas

  • Authentication and apostille arranged through DFAT and consulates

  • Notarial certificates for company, shipping and commercial documents

  • Verifying identity and capacity for foreign banks, courts and registries

Appointments

Four steps, in this order.

I.

Send the document

Email a scan, along with the country it is going to, so the wording can be checked in advance.

II.

Book a time

Weekdays at Level 7, Corporate Centre One. Early mornings available on request.

III.

Attend with photo ID

Bring a current passport or driver licence, and leave the document unsigned until you are here.

IV.

Collect the original

Sealed, signed and entered in the register. Apostille or consular legalisation arranged if required.
